"Many of us are stuck at home for eight hours a day behind a computer screen, which results in a lot of hunching over, which creates tension in the chest and causes upper back pain, lower back pain, and sciatica from prolonged sitting," he adds.
According to him, his clients report experiencing reduced pain points, which results in more restful sleep and improved overall health.
He advises those interested in incorporating stretching into their daily lives to "always start small."
Summers concurs that dynamic stretching or mobility exercises can be an excellent way to incorporate movement into your daily routine.
"Even if it's just five to ten minutes a day of movement, completely separate from a full workout," she says.
